Any ideas please?

£10 limit
Ages 2 to 75

I don't have our allocated family members yet. £10 is a difficult limit.

We all have agreed to buy a random present in case an additional (foster) DC are present. I assume they will be between 2 and 14

We have a second rule in addition to the budget: handmade, re-gifted, charity shop or supporting local independent businesses. Does that help for ideas?

Screamnastic · 11/10/2020 19:35

I think that would be difficult for all eight of us, especially if lockdown gets stricter. It will help for the the adults. On love afternoon tea and cups and saucers or nice cocktail glasses would be perfect.

We have a very big family. Parent, siblings, partners and DC are nearly 40 people.

Sorry mid thread name change fail. I tried to change back and it didn't work.

Bottle of wine.
Box of chocolates/biscuits.
Gift box from Lush - I think they had a £10 one last year, or a couple of their bath bombs.
Adult colouring book and pencils.
Mug with hot chocolate sachets, marshmallows and those chocolate spoons that melt.
Jar of fancy tea or coffee from Whittards.
Bath toy for the 2 year old.

Thanks Leeds. All excellent ideas.

I need some sticking filler toy ideas for a 7 yo and 10 yo, both boys.

No vouchers or sweets allowed and must be posted or delivered.

Stocking filler toys that have gone down well with my boys at that age...
UNO
Rubio cube
IQ focus games
Traffic Jam game (might be called rush hour?)
Simple book of how to draw cartoons/anime/cars/their interest and a small pad of paper and a few pens or pencils - if possible in a little zipped or buttoned wallet to keep it all together
Small character in blind box of mine craft/robot/car etc
Slime or diy slime kit
Kinder plush reindeer/puppy/bear etc with kinder chocs
Fluffy cosy slipper socks
Gloves, maybe with touch screen ability, and cosy hat
Pedometer
Juggling balls
Beano and dandy winter specials and annual (and if they don’t normally have it, the Beano Xmas double edition often has lots of bits with it but can come out earlier than you expect
Lego Xmas bag if you have a nearby Lego shop - has a small Xmas make for £3-4
Lego &klutz cool gadgets set (there seem to be several)
Usual gold coins, choc orange, Xmas socks and pants, silly toothbrush and shower gel, useful pens etc for school
Cheap seasonal dvd

A fun idea for is an activity book entitled Things To Do While You Poo plus some loo roll or a Christmas toilet seat cover

Screamnastic · 12/10/2020 23:17

Flowers wowzers thanks for the many ideas.

myhobbyisouting · 12/10/2020 23:30

Art out of the box game. Currently reduced on amazon from £15 to around £5.

I would add mug hugger gingerbread biscuits from home bargains, a Xmas mug filled with hot chocolate sachets and a selection box with the remaining fiver Smile

myhobbyisouting · 12/10/2020 23:33

I didn't see no sweets allowed! In that case with the remaining fiver I'd probably go for a practical joker set. Boys that age love a plastic poop

Screamnastic · 18/10/2020 00:15

Uno made me think of Exploding Kittens so I have that for one of my nephews.

I bought a travel cutlery set and a sleep mask for my female relative.

I'm going to get a few things off the list. One of my family members is a foster parent so I'll get a few bit in that they can use or give to friends.

Thanks all. Flowers
