Advice on ooni pizza ovens

Was contemplating getting DH one of these for Christmas - more than I would usually spend on Christmas for him but he will love it.

Am tempted by the Fyra on their own website, but a couple of places have the Ooni 3 in a bundle with pellets and peel.

Can anyone advise?

I’d strongly recommend getting some candied jalapeños from Haynes Gourmet. They’re amazing on pizza!

Does it keep you warm outside as well as cooking pizzas? Thinking of a gas one.

Haven’t read the full thread but we looked at Ooni but went with a Gozney Roccbox instead. Best thing we’ve bought in ages

No, definitely not for keeping you warm

@mrscampbellblackagain do you wait for it to get hot enough before putting pizza in? 1-2 mins should do it but you need to shimmy it round as it cooks

Our friend switched from koda to Roccbox and said it was better insulated, better stone, cooks better, build better than Ooni generally. So we went with Roccbox but we have another friend who also has the Koda and they love it.

I can’t see us going to a pizza restaurant again any time soon, once we got the hang of the dough making it’s a game changer

Bought one for my DH the summer before last. It's sat unused in the corner of the outdoor kitchen. He loves pizza. No idea why he's not used it. To be fair we have hardly used that part of the garden recently. In lockdown we were digging, flattening and decking another area.
