Oodie but not so expensive

I'd never heard of an Oodie before I read some of the Christmas threads recently. It's just the sort of thing my nearly 10 year old would love. Does anyone know if there is a cheaper option than the actual Oodie which seems to be in excess of £55 and only one size available?
If anyone has a cheaper version that you would recommend (that would be a suitable size for a 10 year old boy) I'd be so grateful to hear where you got it from.

Amazon have similar with Fortnite across for £23, i was hoping for a bit cheaper as £46 for two is still expensive really

Ellapaella · 06/10/2020 20:35

Thanks both
@Welshponyslave the fortnite one sounds ideal! Do you have a link?

I think it is the same one posted by Pinkshrimp

I give up, but if you search for “oversize hoodie” in Amazon, there are a lot of options.

I've just ordered some of these from wowcher let me see if I can find a link

Disclaimer, I've not received them yet so I can't vouch for the quality!

Thank you so much everyone! In the end I ordered two (one for each of my younger boys) of the fortnite ones from Amazon which actually seem to be made by Tesco - they will arrive the end of November.

I got one from eBay for £20 for my 12 year old and he loves it

RainingBatsAndFrogs · 07/10/2020 08:40

I bet Primark will have these within a month.

vjg13 · 07/10/2020 10:50

I was looking on the actual oodie website and most colours seem to be out of stock until Nov or Dec. Can people who receive the Amazon ones post on here about the quality etc please? Smile

Bbq1 · 07/10/2020 11:51

Got one last year from ebay for my 14 year old. He still lives in it! They're all over ebay. It was £16.99 and I just typed in 'oversized hoody'

Londonborncatty · 07/10/2020 16:20

The only thing to watch out with the Fortnite ones are the reviews say that the furry lining is in the hood only and not throughout the top.

Londonborncatty · 07/10/2020 16:23

@vjg13 I’ve just received my order of one from Amazon. It stated it was a Sienna brand on the description and there have been previous reports of them being good quality. The one I’ve ended up with is pretty rubbish, cheap looking and very thin. It would fit a sumo wrestler.
Can’t return it as it’s from China and the postage is too much. Cost me £25 including shipping.

vjg13 · 07/10/2020 18:26

Oh no, London, that's really disappointing.

I ordered from Oodie a few weeks ago, the blue penguin one. It said it would be in stock or dispatched 15th November. It arrived about 5 days after I ordered it!

I have bought my daughter the pink cat oodie for Christmas. I think I got about £20-£25 off at the time. They are lovely and very very soft. Done up in a nice bow with like a dust bag to keep it in.

NorfolkEssexGirl · 30/01/2021 23:15

I Just ordered one of these. Was it good?
