Just gone mad in The Range

Have just spent 100s on Christmas decorations in the range. Bought tons of ornaments (I have a lot of trees and a new colour scheme) . Still need a 8ft tree and 8 decent garlands. Anyone else mad about Christmas decorations? Where do you get them? Its very easy to get carried awayBlush

I bought the bulk of my cheap filler plain baubles years ago from b&m or somewhere and every year I buy 2 or 3 of the nice ones, I started about 10 years ago so my tree looks pretty full and lovely now! I have a pastel and white theme so have a lot of unicorns and doughnuts and sweeties and things. I love looking in the shops for unusual baubles and decorations!

I haven't looked in The Range yet for Christmas (though I do like their Hallowe'en decorations too )

No tree here , tried last year and our cats kept biting and climbing it . I don't think a year is enough to mellow them

I need to get a load of those flickering battery candles .
And a pre-lit garland for the stairs

I love their stuff. They have their share of shinny shit, but also have some lovely, traditional looking stuff. I really wanted one of the Christmas tree stands last year. They also had a gorgeous wooden sleigh, that would look wonderful under the tree, with presents on it.

I agree with the OP, try a wall tree. If you have a tree that needs built, you just build one side, tie it together by wrapping gift riven around the ‘trunk’ to tie it together. Put a hoop on top, make a flat box shape, a bit like a pizza box, wrap in Christmas paper and put it on the bottom to hide the pointy bit at the bottom. You can just hang it from a picture hook. You can leave the bottom bit off, if you want it shorter.

Mind you, I loved it when my old cats were kittens and played in the tree.

I'm gonna head there next pay day (end of the month) to pick up some new Christmas decorations, looking forward to it.
