Please can anyone recommend hot chocolate stirrers? As a special treat for Christmas Eve.

I’ve seen the Hot Chocolate Bombes on John Lewis. They seem quite expensive £10 for 3. Are they worth it? Thanks 🍫☕️

I've not tried these yet so can't vouch for quality also not exactly a stirrer but they have these hot chocolate snowmen in Aldi.

similar to JL bombes I imagine but without the price tag.

I don't seem to be able to add a picture to my posts - but if you Google 'aldi hot chocolate snowmen' they do come up.

At £1.79 each i have picked up a couple to try.

I get mine from O'Conaill's chocolate as they are delish. But I don't think they are open at the moment, so I am trying to see if they will do mail order for me (I usually get them in the farmer's market when we are down visiting DPs and DMIL before Christmas).

I've also really enjoyed Chez Emily versions in the past. They are available online.

My favourite though was a German brand in a local artisan deli - they had a range of types, mint, orange, white/milk swirl, smarties - but for adults, they also had ones with a tiny pipette of whiskey or brandy sealed into the choc, that oozed in as the choc melted into the milk in the pot....hmmmmm...tasty grownup treat!!

Thanks @tiddledpink those snowmen look so cute. I’m going to pop to Aldi to buy bargain snowmen and bargain champagne!! ⛄️🍫🥂

Those sound delicious @BiddyPop

I had nice ones from Lidl last year.

Co Op have Hot Chocolate Bombes with marshmallows in. They're £1.50 each and make a lovely hot chocolate.

What! I had to try them out, didn't i?

I make my own. Bought a mould from lidls that came with bamboo spoons and melt different chocolates and top with tiny marshmallows, fudge pieces, powdered raspberry etc. etc

Lakeland do them as well; a milk chocolate one is £3.99, or they do a trio of milk, dark and salted caramel for £9.99.www.lakeland.co.uk/61861/Lakeland-Hot-Chocolate-Melt-with-Marshmallows-50g

These are amazing. Salted caramels are my favourite.

I like the fact that as well as tasting amazing, they are ethically sourced, raisetrade, and all the packaging is home-compostable, including the wrappers.

Thanks all. @tiddledpink - thank you!! Picked these little snowmen up from Aldi. £1.99 each. They’re filled with mini marshmallows and chocolate drops. My DC will love them 😊
