Do you need a computer to go with them or a game.
Are they worth it?

The new Oculus quest 2 doesn't need a pc, just set up an app on your phone, it'll probably come with some free games. we've bought our ds the PS4 vr instead though as we've already got a ps4.

The older Oculus Quest doesn’t need a pc either. But I believe the newer version is much better. My DS has the Oculus Rift which works with his gaming pc. Compres to the original Quest, the graphics are better and there’s a bigger choice of games, but you do need a decent pc and the space around it to be able to play properly.
I was dubious before he bought it, but it’s absolutely amazing. Loads of diff games, spectacular game play. And quite a few cartoony/fun games that my younger DD, who’s not at all into gaming, can play.
Games range between around £10 and £40, and there’s some for free.
DS bought his headset from Cex for £240, compared to retail price of £400. It was immaculate and came with 2 yr guarantee. So worth checking places like that for a good price.

DS has the VR for his PlayStation. The games are amazing. Several that we can all play such as beat saber. DS has a Batman game. I can’t watch or play it. It’s extremely realistic and a bit frightening I’m a big softy though.
