Will Waitrose do the normal xmas delivery slots ..normally released by now ?

Don’t all supermarkets release xmas slots in November? Xx

I thought they were usually released towards the end of October?

Morrisons have not released slots for Xmas yet. I keep checking. I think it will be very hard to get one this Xmas.

I think Waitrose is end Oct / Nov. I usually book as soon as released. I had a drama last year with logging in to amend my order and it lost my slot!! Customer services sorted it thankfully.

I’m fairly sure I got my sainsburys collection slots at around this time last year, I could be wrong though!

Does Asda give priority to delivery pass customers?

Ocado usually release some in October for smart pass holders but I have not heard anything yet.

That would be on the food to order, not groceries. Sainsbury's are 3-4 weeks prior, depending on whether you've a delivery pass or not.

Tesxo is usually end of november, was 00.01am on 27th last year

Waitrose released theirs ridiculously early last year - way, way before Tesco.

I booked Waitrose on today's date last year.

Waitrose used to be 12 weeks out for their delivery slots all year round, including Christmas.

Now you can only book about 3 weeks out, so I assume they will do something special to let you pre-book over the Christmas period.

Tesco says 13th November at 7am for delivery saver customers

I just logged onto my Waitrose account and a message popped up saying that Xmas delivery slots were open. I managed to get one for the 23rd.

@mylittlepeanut - thank you for the heads-up. When I log in it just tells me that slots are coming 'soon'. Perhaps it depends which part of the country you are in?

I booked one with Waitrose for 23rd this morning too, it said I have priority access as I'm a regular customer. They're opening to the general public a week today, Wednesday 7th October, so make sure you stay up till midnight on Tuesday so you can book it as soon as they are released!

I have no idea @TastelessBracelets, I rarely shop in-store but I've had a delivery at the same time every week for the past two years. My dad who goes to the store several times a week but only gets deliveries once a month didn't get the special message and was a bit miffed!

I booked mine this morning. I went back in just now and the message said that it’s because you have shopped online with them this year.

Christmas Eve is already fully booked for delivery and collection (it was only the morning available anyway).

It’s only December 20th-24th. No New Year slots yet. And I can’t order the special Christmas food yet, but it has changed from “sold out online” to “available to order soon”.
