Filling your own advent calendar

My Mum, aunt and I have refilled the Liberty advent calendar for each other for a few years now and wondered if anyone wants to share ideas?

Today I picked up a little pack of mulling spices in M&S to make mulled wine. I've also got the mini Diptyque candle from the Liberty free beauty gift earlier in the year.

I refill my old M&S ones for the children - used to do mini chocolate bars, now they want a mix of beauty stuff and chocolate. I try to rely on freebies I get when I buy my own cosmetics

I’m making my own one this year - I don’t have anyone to do one for me (DH would do it completely wrong)
I’ve got a load of the liberty gift stuff to put in it (i’m selling the bits I don’t want) chocolates, a sleep spray, i’m going to get a face most I like, nail varnish, ace cloth, any bits I can pick up really. I wish I had a sister I could do it with!

Thanks for the ideas, think I've got 13 done so far- I live overseas so need to get posting soon.

@CakeandCoffeeQueen sounds nice, I know I'm lucky that I've got my Mum and aunt to swap with.

Depending on what country your in, is there anything to do with the culture you could get?

I was going to suggest a small jar of local honey but you might not be able to post it!

What about a special/nice Christmas decoration? I get one from Father Christmas for my kids every year.

Microfibres make up remover pad I know t k maxx sells them and I’ve seen them on amazon.

A letter with a funny memory/a old photo. A happiness jar thehappynewspaper.com/shop/the-happy-news-date-night-jar/

A nice face mask for when they go to the shops.

I love stationary so a pen and notepad - do you have a muji? They do unusual bits.
