Toy Diner for DS ???

DS is 18 months currently... He has a Fisher Price food truck but I'm not convinced that will hold his interest a lot longer... Do I buy him a kitchen diner that I have seen in Elc (and obviously all the pans, accessories) or will I be wasting my money and he won't care and it will sit in a corner...

Anyone had one for a DS at this age opinions and help please... Or alternatives of course

I got my twin nieces a wooden kitchen last Christmas and they were just about to turn 2. They love it and it’s one of their favourite toys to play with.

I’ve found with my nieces that they grow with these kind of toys so there’s different things they’ll do depending on their development.

BUY IT!! (and it’s currently at a great price).

We bought that exact kitchen for our eldest son’s second birthday. He played with it daily for a good couple of years, and his little brother then took over. My kids are now 5 & 8 and the little one still occasionally plays with it. I really doubt it will be a waste of money.

I have also gotten my twin nieces scuttlebugs, they absolutely loved them and was probably one of their favourite things from Christmas that they use all of the time. I think they’re around £20/£25 it’s like a little scooter but they sit on them instead.

Have you seen the little tikes lorry that loads cars onto it? One of the girls loves her one so would think your little boy would enjoy it to, she actually sits on it and pushes herself around on it.

They both enjoy wooden puzzles, and crafty bits. One of the things they love is the aquadoodle mats, especially handy on those days you don’t want to get the craft bits out but they want to draw.

If you need wooden accessories for the diner it’s worth keeping your eye out for aldi. I had got their kitchen from their last year and lots of wooden kitchen accessories, food etc to go with it and was really reasonably priced.
