I'm thinking of investing in a new tree this year and I've always thought the Balsam Hill ones look lovely.

I've searched past threads and know they require a lot of fluffing to achieve the desired look 😁.

Please can I see your Balsam Hill trees fully fluffed and decorated, and any recommendations on which model to get?

Thanks 😊

I didn't fancy any of the BH trees. The branches look realistic but the shapes are too uniform
I got a tree from Christmas Tree world. Ultra Mountain Pine. I think it looks amazing. It's v wide though
Mine isn't pre lit as I hate that but they do that option too
The site is worth a look.

Nice to find another fan of Christmas Tree World. I think their trees are at least as good as BH at half the price.
I ordered our second Woodland Pine yesterday for our son. The company are very helpful and friendly. David, to whom I spoke, took a lot of trouble making sure I ordered the right size for DS’s room.

Definitely check them out before ordering from BH.

£229 is very reasonable really for that type of quality
We paid £65 last year for a real one from the local garden centre and I'm sure that will last more than 3 and a bit Christmas's plus the one we had made a right mess then we had to arrange for it to be disposed of so if you think of it like that, quite an investment 😊[/quote]

I love ours, best investment for Christmas!!

I don't have a pic to show but I came on to say we made the switch from real to fake several years back and got one of these. I didn't choose the option to have lights and I wish I had.

Can I ask those if you that buy the garlands whether you went out or pre lit ? And how realistic are they ? I'm thinking of getting for my bannister but the ones in Cox & Cox look a bit fake in catalogue - I'm also wondering whether I could make it look nice on the bannister .... I'm not good creatively Confused

So my new tree came yesterday it's sealed in its box but I'm so excited I want to put it up now!!!!

The BH trees all look very triangular and fake.

That's a lot of money for a very 'shop' looking tree.

The Christmas Tree World one looks more real.

Do you not mind it fake looking? Surely there are cheaper options then?

I can’t remember the model but it was about £300 in their Black Friday sale a couple of years ago. I’m a bit lazy and could fluff ours a bit more!

Got mine from b and q last year that looks the same as those and it was a lot cheaper!! Was called thetford or something

I love it when Xmas trees look real, like they have been cut down from a Scandinavian Forest ❤️
