Any recommendations for a shower speaker?

Dd2 likes to take her music in the shower but atm that means either sitting alexa on the top of the stairs, turned up so she can hear it, or taking a phone in the bathroom.

I wondered if anyone has a cheap ish shower proof speaker they'd recommend? Tia :)

We have one from Lidl which has a suction cap on the wall, and also a bluetooth bulb speaker in the bathroom - so the bathroom light bulb is itself the speaker. It also changes colour so is all very exciting. That was from Wilkos but I've seen them on Amazon as well. Both were under a tenner.

@PaternosterLoft the lidl one sounds like it'd be fine - can you send music to it via bluetooth? She tends to hijack my Amazon music account

(As fun as the light bulb sounds; we have an old light fitting with 3 bulbs in there & I wouldn't know where to start changing it. Plus they have colour changing light bulbs in their rooms so it'd turn upstairs into more of a disco Grin )

Yep it works fine with Alexa. It's the Silver Crest bluetooth shower speaker but obviously you cant predict when Lidl will have it back in.

I'll keep my eyes out on their app & when we go for packed lunch things on a Sunday. Thanks :)

We have this one £10 and it bluetooths to one device. Ds1 has it linked to his phone.

We have disabled calls just in case the button gets hit accidentally.

We have had it a long time, the one piece of advice I will give is don't suction it to the wall. Ours is wedged between the wall and the electric shower box that way it is easily removed for charging. It doesn't require it often but I try to remember to do it the first week of the month.

@JoanJosephJim I looked at that one this morning but didn't buy just yet!

@lucysmam I apologise I provided the wrong link, mine was £20 and this one

It is decent quality. We bought ours for Christmas 2018. I checked on Amazon.
