Fashion designer gifts for boys

A boy in my life, aged 9, loves clothes and wants to be a fashion designer. He particularly loves boys/mens clothes so I don't want to buy him all the dress making kits etc, and am not spending enough to get him sewing machine etc. Anyone seen any toys or gifts for a budding boy fashion designer. I am thinking this kind of thing but for a boy.

how about iron on transfer printer paper? If he designs anything on computer then he can print off design and have it put on say a tshirt. You can get the paper from most arts n crafts places and amazon etc.

Tie dye kits seem to be the thing atm. I've seen some on amazon about £15 but there may be stuff in other places like the works for less x

Have you ever played Covet Fashion@Pansypath ?
It's brilliant, you create looks based on the criteria, and win fashion items for your virtual closet. My 9 year old son watches me daily playing it and quite often he asks to design the look for me. Have a look on the App Store, it's completely free, so perhaps your son would love playing this as well?

Thanks all. It is not my son but a friend’s son but will check those things out. Really I want something where he can design and make boys clothes on a model but they all seem to be dresses
