What are your teens asking for this year?

Finding teens are so so difficult to buy for! So what are yours asking for this year?

Mine has no idea yet but last year was AirPods - which do not regret, probably the most used gift!

A graphics tablet - great for arty stuff but also for writing whilst doing a zoom meeting via bitpaper. Easier than using a mouse.

Our DD got a laptop for a well done on her GCSEs (would've been a Christmas present but she needs one for 6th form and missed out on her end of term holiday so bought it early) but she wants a fancy cover and we'll get other accessories for it as she finds out what she needs over the next few weeks.

More clothes for 6th form I guess and some boots eg biker type so can walk to school. She's going to see what everyone is wearing first

Clothes... Xbox voucher... it's so hard!

I keep asking for Lego diagon alley for me but dh says it is too expensive.

He may have a point.

My teen wants a switch. He knows they are over budget and has saved hard to contribute so I expect he will get one.

Usually money for DS ( he's not a teen now he'll be 21 in December)

Horsey stuff for DD new jacket & boots. Not sure for DS yet I think there is a new xbox coming out? Or if not probably chlothes trainers some kind of tech x

My almost 13 year old is asking for a new phone! Not really sure how to go about it - don't want another monthly expense but if we buy it in one go she won't get much else! Not sure what the answer is!

DGS is getting a laptop from DH and me for his birthday next week, as, like AnneOfCleavage’s DD he is entering the sixth form. Therefore probably not much for Christmas from us.

DS13 had Ps4 and bought himself Ps4 VR with his own money and loves it and now wants the Oculus one. However, it's looking like his Airpods are giving up the ghost and he uses them every day so if I do buy him a new pair (or Samsung equivalent), they will probably form part of his present. He gets money from family for Christmasand birthday (March) so could probably buy his own Oculus. He always dithers over wanting a new phone too 🙄

Ds wants to build his own PC. I have no idea what this means in reality, but I’m guessing various parts.
