Hi .

Looking for some good quality hamper ideas for:
84 yr old Dad
83 yr old Dh's grandad
Family type hamper for DH and family who live down south so would need to be posted or delviered.

In the past I have made them up for Ddad and D Grandad with nice treats and gardening stuff etc. I could do that but looking for other ideas just in case. They are both quite tradiitonal they like nice biscuits coffee chocolates etc.

For DH and family I have sent prosecco & chocolates from M&S or a flower gift as easier to get delivered but they have 3 kids so was looking for a big family type treat hamper but good quality.

Any ideas? Thanks a lot xxx

Are there any boxsets or cd collection they might like with favourite tipple and snacks? Look at what they are into, their hobbies and interests, something they talked about.
Would they like memorabilia or somr item from when they were young?
Maybe look up stuff for older gardeners like easy grip secateurs or a kneeling pad or some tool to do a job without bending?
Herbal tea collection? Magazine or book they might like?

I’m thinking of doing a small hamper for my grandparents this year and I would like to make my own marmalade and chutney to put in it to make it a bit more personal. Ive never made either before but because that sort of things keeps for around a year and it’s only September, I have plenty of time to practice. If they like anything like that, it could be worth looking in to to make the hamper a bit ‘different’. I’m also thinking of making a Christmas chocolate bark, which looks pretty easy to do. There’s plenty of ideas on Pinterest for the bark Smile
