Presents for men in the family

I always find it so hard every year and end up buying aftershave set, smellies or clothes.

Any ideas for men, they dont read books (I tried that 1 year) I cant keep buying aftershave or gift sets. Literally no hobbies that I can think of.
Ages 40-60 I have 4 to buy for.

Mine will get something Everton related - again! So boring!!
Last year, a decent Swiss Army knife, aftershave, craft beer.
all very dull

A hit with my df last year was a battery tester so he could check how much charge is left in a battery.
My df is very awkward to buy for because he disapproves of me wasting my money so this ticked several boxes as useful, inexpensive, thoughtful.
My dh and db have not such qualms about me wasting money on them but we’re very jealous of df’s cheap battery tester

I was going to buy those silk pillows for DS1 and his DP, They are expensive but have many devotees.

Then I remembered DP is a vegan, silk is a No No.

the ethical silk company extract silk from the abandoned cocoons of moths so they’re not harmed by the process. I don’t know if that would make a difference from a vegan stand point???

Can you recommend a battery tester? I know I could google but I prefer 'tried and tested' where possible. Thanks

The one I got was this one.
