Hi

Has anyone been away for Christmas?

How stressful is it 😂

Does anyone have any suggestions of places to stay please? (can't be to remote as we don't drive)

Thanks!

Are you taking kids with you? If it was just DP and I, I would go here and we probably will be a couple of days before Christmas - www.bethnalandbec.com/

Wood burner, outdoor hot tub, pull down screen to watch Netflix in bed, the biggest bath I’ve ever seen! It’s honestly the most romantic and luxurious place I’ve ever stayed. However, strictly for a couples only trip!

This year could well be lockdown Mark 2.
I am staying home, and just making it extra special.
I really don't want to have my longed for plans snatched from me, at a weeks notice.

Stay at home.

We’ve booked a remote Scottish log cabin for the week before Christmas.

I think you would be hard pushed to find anywhere that’s pretty nice for Christmas week now, they usually get booked earlier on. And are ridiculously expensive.

Yes it'd be with my children - I thought perhaps, I'd probably left it to late, and know things are not what they usually are, but thought I'd ask anyway.

That log cabin looks amazing!

We have Ribby Hall booked, it looks amazing for kids. Aware it may be cancelled though.

I’ve always fancied being away somewhere for Christmas but it would need to be amazing and I can’t bring myself to spend what I would need to for a week 🙈
