If any are the creative type you could get some fimo (kind of like a grown up playdough)

On the bargains thread people were talking about the sprocket- you can print out pics from mobile with it on to photo paper.

Makeup, jewellery, clothes, perfume tends to be a go to for teen/tweens if they're not into toys anymore.

Are they into any particular music genres or movies? A cd or dvd could go down well. As a teen i was very much into my rock and metal and stuff so I appreciated band merch and stuff like that x

If they're into certain games might they be into funko pops or figures of favourite characters? Primark has xbox and ps4 clothing loads in the boys sections. They also tend to have gaming merch in the xmas gifts range when they come out. (Call of duty, ps4 were big ones last year).

If budget is permitting you can get gaming headsets if they play online with friends or gaming chairs, stuff like that. I know smyths has or had gaming chairs for reasonable prices x

DS is 11 and the things he loves are:

Anything with wheels: he has 3 bikes, 2 skateboards, a hoverboard and a scooter 🙈Accessories for these like ramps, kit for his main hobby which is BMXing.

His MacBook, AirPods, Beats headphones, IPhone, Apple Watch, anything Apple basically.

His football net, football accessories or kit, basketball net, hockey stick and baseball bat, ball and glove set.

His paddle board although that might not be the best Christmas present unless you happen to live in the Southern Hemisphere.

Art supplies, books, he’s only into Harry Potter lego now really but he also wants the Mario sets.

Surf/ skate/ bike brand tshirts, hoodies and trainers.

He really wants a Switch but getting hold of one is proving very difficult! He rarely plays on his PS4 though so I’m not sure a switch would be any different.

Some of these would work for girls too.

DD is 13.5 and is currently wanting
new phone (unlikely)
electric bass guitar
big white fluffy towelling dressing gown "like in a hotel"
silk pillowcase
posters for bedroom
hoodies
always wants lush bath bombs and glossier or milk makeup/skincre

Sprocket last year very successful too.

Puffinhead · 14/08/2020 20:30

I’ve mentioned this on many a thread - my DD12 loved the Filofax we bought her last year. Also bought lots of cool stickers (from Etsy) to go with it. WHSmith had a good offer on them around November last year.

Also, hooded blankets - slankets - from New Look last year. We got a sloth and koala one for DD12 & 14 plus slippers and pjs. I think they’re in stock from September- don’t pay full price though! There’s always a 25% discount code going.

Puffinhead · 14/08/2020 20:31

Oh, face masks are a big hit too. 7th Heaven ones in particular. Argos have sets which are very good value.

Cherryrainbow · 14/08/2020 21:37

All girls love the snow fairy products from lush! My sister and I have been stocking up on them at xmas for years! Wish they sold the shower gel all year round lol x

TenCornMaidens · 19/08/2020 20:21

This is a good deal on speedcubes

They make fun stocking stuffers or you can get completely obsessed and start competing like my family

allthingsred · 20/08/2020 15:09

Thank you some great ideas on here.
Extra long got water bottles in order ( they look great)
So are led lights & wireless speakers. Such a funny age to buy for aren't they?

I've not seen speed cubes before are they like Rubik cube
Yes, but smoother and faster. There are also different shapes in the set.
