hello all, can I join you? Last christmas I was all very last minute and it was horribly stressful, detemrined to be more organised this year. Also, along with everyone else have had totally hideous year, so quite glad to distract myself woth thoughts of Christmas planning!
I have quite a few stocking follers already, along with girls christmas pjs, and advent calendars and wrapping paper.
Need to find some nice table linen next I think..... Am going to get my stuff out tomorrow and check where Im at and update my spreadsheets (yes, I am THAT sad!)

Mrsmadevans · 21/07/2020 18:25

Yes of course you can join us Moss Smile

MrsPworkingmummy · 21/07/2020 21:10

Oooo, can I join to please? Long time lurker. I usually start shopping for the children's gifts around June, but this year I'm holding out for the Smyths sale. I have my lists ready, have ordered a wax melt advent calender (for myself) and am re-considering family Christmas activity days given Covid has scuppered most of what we'd usually do.

marshmallow oooh, thank you. Will browse those!
I am signed off work sick this week, although now feeling lightly less ill, and DH has been paid today, so I feel some online Christmas purchasing is called for!

MarshmallowManiac · 22/07/2020 11:02

oh, well there is a lesson for us all! Browsing tablecloths on amazon, clicked on one I liked, only for amazon to helpfully point out I purchased it on Dec 30th 2019 LOL!! I must have already got it stashed away somewhere....so need to check my Christmas stash bags and make some notes before buying anything else! Grin

MarshmallowManiac · 22/07/2020 12:56

Haha that sounds like something I would do! Now is the time to start 'Mission hidden tablecloth' and have a lovely new tablecloth for Christmas Moss Grin

I've started my Christmas planner and I'm working on my Christmas menu (obviously I mean from pumpkin onwards!)

MarshmallowManiac · 30/07/2020 15:45

Have just bought my Christmas planner, fully intending to fill it up and work on my Christmas menu too, usually have lamb and duck as not too keen on turkey Grin

Hello!
I have lurked for years and often start shopping in Sept. However I started last month and am determined to be done and dusted by end of November. Feeling very motivated by all on this board! Minus the kids presents from Father Christmas as I will wait until we have visited the man himself for those!

Does anyone use the TOMM method for an organised Christmas?

Marmite27 · 31/07/2020 17:35

I’ve got 3/12 of the kids stocking presents stashed away. They’re only stocking fillers but that’s why FC brings, so VERY important.

I have lists for their presents from us. No more than 12 parcels. Then their DF gets involved and my carefully curated presents get overwhelmed with crap. Plus the extended family buy loads and we’re swimming in toys again.

Looking at my notebook from last year, this year I want a new table cloth, table arrangement and wreath.

Ninjaplus1 · 01/08/2020 09:42

I always mean to decorate the table but forget. I’m going to start looking at tablecloths now.
I live in Greater Manchester, we are back to not mixing households indoors. I need something to cheer me up.

MarshmallowManiac · 11/08/2020 20:19

Ninja Christmas shopping always cheers me up too. Grin
