Ive put aside a book and blanket gift set, an activity wolf thing my son has chosen and have a xmas dress ready (hope it fits lol) I imagine some teethers/dummy will be a stocking filler.

Any ideas for a main present? Putting money together with the OH we will have £40. She will be 3 months old but happy to invest in older toys. Many thanks!

I’d honestly get some clothes a few sizes bigger, maybe get her a drinking cup and a set of cutlery! Practical things as she’ll know no difference. I bet lots of other people will buy her toys and clothes.

I wouldn't bother with a blanket. My LO is almost 3 months old. I got loads of blankets that are too thick to even use on the baby and they take up a whole drawer. I might start offloading them on other people.

I got gifted a sophie the giraffes teething gift set with rattle from jo jo bebe which has been handy recently and something different.

The toy my baby loves most is a hungry caterpillar toy that can be put on a bouncer bar or the pram.

Swing or slide if you have a garden or a little tikes rocker

Great suggestions so far! I've seen a few sophie giraffe sets about - what do you think of the main teether toy?

The hungry caterpillar activity toy looks great! The book set I bought for xmas is actually a hungry caterpillar board book that comes with a cuddle comforter thing I realise now in the set. It could be a good thing to match up with it.

Pretty sure my OH will be mad if I buy any more baby clothes lol been stocking up on summery stuff for next year and looking in the sales x

I'd get a jumperoo. My kids bloody loved theirs.

Books and clothes are good. We also got a nice cuddly toy they could keep for when they are older and (and I realise this isn't to everyone's taste) got one of those name a star things done for them.

DS was 3 months for his first Christmas, we got him some weaning bits, drinking cup cutlery sets that sort of thing. And his main present was a jumperoo. My family got him loads of clothes in bigger sizes and some toys for 6m+ to put away for later x

Black and white picture books
Soft books
Linkies (also good for teething)
Wooden teething ring with ribbons
Tactile balls/shapes
Ball pit
Jumperoo
Bumbo seat

Also it's worth trying to pick up things like the jumperoo or bumbo seat second hand, they are usually plentiful and significantly cheaper

My DS also loved his jumparoo. We got ours on Facebook marketplace.

A play mat for her to lay on with dangling toys above. Any lamaze pram toy, they are always really brightly coloured and can be clipped onto pram, cot, highchair, car seat and you can get some with teethers

My DS was 2 months last Christmas. We got him a play gym and one of those fish bubble machines. Got a lot of use out of both
