Between now and Christmas my dd2 will have a birthday then Christmas, I'm totally stumped on gift ideas for either. Dd3 has is all, anything I would think of we already have.

Any out the box ideas?

I got my younger dc a lot of extension set for things we already had - so happyland/duplo/playmobil 123 extra sets that would go with things she already played with.

My dd2 also really enjoyed having her own set of something her sister had sometimes, particularly if it was something that they both used a lot.

Other ideas - things with her name on (pens, teddy bear, personalised book).
Duvet or pjs with a favourite character.

DS is 3. For Christmas before his third birthday we got him a balance bike, which he loves and is very proficient at now! For his birthday he got various things including some Playmobil which he plays with quite a bit.

Do they have the obvious things - play kitchen, easel, train set, duplo, doctor's set, other role play / dressing up stuff, trampoline (indoor or outdoor), stuff for the garden - sandpit, a playhouse, swings or slide?

Thanks for suggestions
Older dd already been gifted most of what's been suggested.

I'm already thinking of a few things older dd can't get peace to play with like doll high chair etc and more Duplo sets. Already have a few sets but they get used or fought over.
Have a full garden of toys
We have a big extended family on both sides so the amount of gifts they get is insane. It's difficult to find gifts because they have so much and often end up with doubles

An experience then - day out or membership to a place they'll enjoy.

Final thought - my dds are 18 months apart and we have always given quite a few joint presents. I know some posters don't like the idea, but the dds share well and it has always worked for us. Things like a toy kitchen, toy castle, toy shop, toy farm.

Train set? Each kid can start at the other end and build together, it can get more or less complex depending on which daughter is using it. Puppet theatre - and you can add more puppets over time. Pikler Climbing Triangle? We bought this one for my son's 2nd birthday and he + nanny share girl (aged 2.7) play on it at the same time, ALL the time. Older kids use it for climbing but also play building forts, caves, picnics, whizz cars down it - indoors or out. The one we got comes with a slide/ramp, so you could give the triangle for birthday and save the slide for Christmas?
