Giant unicorn from Asda was the favourite. And a Cubby Bear.

Roller skates are a brilliant idea, thank you! I’ve just looked and found some nice quads!
I can’t decide if I think the cubby bear is adorable or creepy!

We bought DD a big marble run for Christmas at that age, plus assorted puzzles/Lego friends/craft items and sylvanian families. She liked them, but the star of the show was a sequinned notebook from the Sainsbury's sale (60p) and one of those multicoloured biro pens (Tesco sale, 30p), which she said were her Best Presents Ever. So you never know what's going to end up the favourite present!

Last year the big hit was one of those cheap flying saucer drones that cost about £15 from Amazon -- it kept DD amused for ages.

Before I forget about it, I just ordered a sterling silver locket for 5 year old Gdd, who loves dressing up and ‘grown up’ jewellery. It’s a child’s one, so the chain will not be too long, with a butterfly on the front.

Better than yet more toys, Gdcs have so many.

Lego friends and elves were popular at that age. Also small diaries with a lock on the front. Both my dc got a 2 wheeled scooter when they were 5 too.
