Most overplayed Christmas tune of 2019

I swear, wherever I go, whichever shop/bar/restaurant I’m in, at some point I’m almost guaranteed to hear East 17’s Stay Another Day.
I was only in Sainsbury’s for 2 minutes yesterday and there I am again, being transported back to 1994.
I’m almost becoming a little freaked out by it , not to mention desperate for some different Christmas music !

Is it just me or is this being played on a loop everywhere?
Any other tunes being following you around?

Fairytale of New York is the most overplayed song every year. If I never heard it again that would be perfect.

Every same bloody song on repeat since the 1970's.

It would be nice if all the songs were on repeat though, instead of the same blasted one!

I haven’t actually heard Fairytale of New York played yet! I wonder if it’s being overlooked due to recent discussions about the lyrics.

I haven't actually heard Stay Another Day yet, but FONY seems to be on every time I put the radio on or walk into a shop.
