No money for presents

Feel guilty so I have wrapped up old toys for my dogs so they got something to open on the day!

And mum got few stocking bits!

But managed a enough for few nibbles and chocolates and roast on Christmas Day. - which is main thing!

Anyone else struggle or find this year more expensive??

Why do dogs need presents?

purpleme12 · 24/12/2019 10:50

Dogs don't need presents but OP loves her dog so why not do it if it's what makes her happy

I did most of my shopping in November but have less money than I've ever had now!
I don't but for adults I just buy for the children

I have an old dog toy that is washed and given to our dog every Christmas morning! He loves it.

Dogs don't know what Christmas is. They won't be down the park next week comparing their present haul from Santa with the other dogs.

But if it makes you happy to wrap stuff then go for it.

Oh thought this was going to be a thread about someone with children.

Your dog has zero idea about Christmas and your mum is a grown up. You have food and a roof over your head. Enjoy.

Ffsnosexallowed · 24/12/2019 15:12

So you feel guilty because you haven't bought your dogs more??

Lozz22 · 24/12/2019 15:25

Money is massively tight for me at the moment. I'm still trying to catch up on the money I already owe out from when I was off sick after my miscarriage 12 weeks ago. I can barely afford to feed myself let alone buy people Christmas presents.

RhymingRabbit3 · 24/12/2019 17:43

I'm sure your dogs won't notice that they've got old toys regifted.
