Next door neighbours have just popped round with presents.

Both sides. One has bought us a family present. The other with a bag full of presents. 3 for each of the children and 2 between me and my husband.
What do we buy? I was going. To give neighbour attached to us a bottle of wine for putting up with the noise of us but seems a bit pathetic now.

Oh my. Ours popped round with cards and we are doing cards plus a box of bicycles because they are putting up with us (and our builders). Our first year in the house. Next year I'd probably just send a card!

I’d definitely go with a family present. Maybe something like a Netflix voucher and a big bag of popcorn or a restaurant voucher maybe. I’m quite glad my neighbours don’t even send a card 😂

It's so lovely of them. Neighbour who bought us family present we've fed her cat a few times. But one who's bought bag full all we've given them is headaches and nerf bullets!

Is it more of a thing this year? Our social lives aren’t particularly different but we’ve Been given so many gifts this year -lots of wine, gin, homemade jams etc. I’ve had to do a mass bake off to reciprocate!

My DC would get days of entertainment out of a box big enough to hold multiple bicycles.

Been to lidl this morning. (couldn't deal with town) got them prosecco, naice biscuits and liquor marshmallows.
Somehow managed to spend £50 as saw things I likes too Grin
