Just counted the dad’s presents and one has more than the other (4 more), the one with less is dd2 who has ASD, she is more likely to notice than her sister would. I am now wondering if I should go and buy a couple more gifts or if I should remove some of dd1’s gifts?

Dd2 doesn’t really understand how much things cost, her gifts have cost more than her sisters but she won’t understand that, also dd1 has no big main gift and has a lot of clothes items, her sister has a main gift (Lego set) and not much clothes as she doesn’t like receiving clothes.

I really don’t want to venture out to the shops but I’m worried dd2 will think she has less to open.

I’m just being silly aren’t I?

To save meltdown, I would go get four cheaper gifts for the other DD. If she doesn't understand monetary value they could be something small?

Could you wrap some of DD1's in pairs like two items of clothing that are similar or go together, so the number to unwrap is the same?

Thank you, I have ordered one item form amazon (some putty, slime) in hope it comes tomorrow. I found a selection box so will wrap that. Some of DD1’s presents are already wrapped in pairs, I could attempt to pair a few more. Dd1 is easier to buy for this year, although dd2 wants a lot more it’s hard to buy for her as she just breaks everything or makes a mess with things, the gifts I have got her she will love and I don’t want to buy for the sake of it.
