Any suggestions please? For my nephew. Won't be seeing him til beginning of January so no problems about delivery times.

He loves rugby, football, athletics, squash, running 5k Park runs etc... I'm stumped and my sister isn't helping me out with ideas.

Thanks.

Trainers, snack hamper for after games, Sports Kit, or a JD Voucher so he could choose his clothes. Or Stadium tour, tickets to a game, or vouchers to a trampoline park (not sports but will appeal to someone who likes to be active).

MontyBowJangles · 19/12/2019 21:36

Oh, should have said budget is about £30! He lives in a small country town so shop vouchers not great, and he's not fashion conscious/doesn't like big brands/labels.

Will look into the snack hamper idea though, and maybe trampoline Park (tho sister doesn't drive so getting to one by bus may be tricky). Thanks!

Stadium tour?

MontyBowJangles · 19/12/2019 22:06

We live in the west country and he supports Man City Grin so a really long way to travel, meaning an overnight stay in a hotel on top of transport costs so my sister won't thank me for it.

Driving lesson for his age group?

Some sort of active experience

Deminism · 19/12/2019 23:27

My son was thrilled to get a proper hard bouncy basketball and also a hoop for the garden.

Goalkeeper gloves.

Table football.

InvisibleWomenMustBeRead · 19/12/2019 23:54

Park run wristband with the bar code (other merchandise is available too and all good stuff).

Game for PS4 / X Box.

Clothes (if he likes brands)

My son wants all of the above and also a Euro 2020 football (he's football crazy!).

anxioussue · 19/12/2019 23:58

Cricket club season ticket ?

LEELULUMPKIN · 20/12/2019 00:04

I've got a sports mad Nephew the same age. I've got him a new boot bag with his fave team on.

Wheresthebiffer2 · 20/12/2019 00:08

body wash and spray? if he's sporty he will take lots of showers.

thaegumathteth · 20/12/2019 00:11

Ds same age and same obsessions!

Some things he's getting

Football boot bag for his team
Football annuals
Shoot for 50 years book
Football year book (this looks like most boring thing ever to me but he will love it)

He does also really use his echo dot ALOT too but depends if he'd have access to Spotify etc

Ds also loves his MOTD magazine subscription

My local Sports Direct has loads of fab sporty gifts reduced right down now.

Decent enough tennis racquets for a tenner. Skateboards £12 reduced from £30. Complete cricket or rounders sets for £20 ish (look like nice quality). Stunt scooters half price, roller blades (teen ones) £20 ish I think they were.

And lots of general sporty bits at slashed prices like water bottles, protein things etc. Adidas t shirts are 2 for £16 (up to age 15). Yesterday I got a really cool looking Adidas EDT special edition for £5.

And more rugby and football stuff than you could shake a stick at.

I would go for a wander and see what you see. I have three sporty boys, I’ve spent hours in Sports Direct this week Grin

Mitrevspirts tops on M&M for £2:99-£3:99, football and rugby ball , gloves , fleeces , bags etc

MontyBowJangles · 21/12/2019 09:54

Thanks so much for all your suggestions! I've been busy doing some research this morning (he already has a table football set in the garage, and has been doing park run for years so guessing he already has a band for that).

Will prob have to schlep into our manky Town centre at some point to get to Sports Direct then. Think he'd like the euro 2020 football, the magazine subscription is £40 so over budget (I've already bought him some books for a fiver). Will also get him some more Lynx type stuff (got him some for his birthday recently).

My kids are much younger so don't know if this is unusual for a 13yr old but he doesn't have a gaming console or mobile phone?? His parents are very anti technology and say he doesn't need them.

I would 100% go on the Man City online store and get him a training shirt, one of the nice coloured ones or a retro shirt from years gone by.

He’d love it!

MontyBowJangles · 22/12/2019 08:48

Had a look on the Man City website... Training shirts are £40 Shock and everything in my budget (and a lot of things out of it) look so tacky! Blush but thanks for the idea Smile
