I'm really don't know what to buy my mum for Christmas.
Any ideas?

Calender
Jewellery
Posh chocs
Book about something she's interested in
Box set
Grandkids faces printed on a thing
Gloves
Smellies
Hamper

If you aren’t close get a similar thing to what she buys you. People normally get others things they like.

I got my mum two books about gardens (not fact books - more like the story of a garden), some tea in a nice tin and I did a photo calendar of the DC.

Subscription to a magazine
Voucher for tea
Theatre tickets.

Depending on your age I could well be your mum's age. I'd love some books, historical fiction, fantasy & whodunit are my favourite genres. I love smellies the posher the better, ditto chocolates . I've recently bought some socks with cashmere in, they're lovely and thin but still warm I'd love more of these.

An experience that you will do with her - wine tasting, afternoon tea, craft course for example. She will value spending time with you.

I've just made a little hamper today for my in laws. I put in a selection of beers, prosecco, a few different boxes of nice chocolates, some nice candles and a framed pic of the grandkids. If it was just for her I'd have included some nice toiletries.

How old is she? What does she like?

We're giving MIL a year's Bloom & Wild subscription. In the past we've bought her earrings, a ballroom dancing lesson with one of the professionals from Strictly, sheepskin slippers, a gift voucher for David Austin roses and an Alexa.

A lovely bird table. My mother is difficult to buy for - she's 89, very fit and active but doesn't want "things" in general and cannot taste/smell. She loves a manicure, reading and having framed photographs of the family around her.
