dd has various things - a couple of sticker books, games, actual books, and few LOL bits and pieces like lip balms and an annual rather than doll as they are much cheaper. She has some Frozen stuff too.

Ember12 · 18/12/2019 11:50

Twisty pets, Cubby, Owleez, Lego and some Our generation dolls

LetsPlayBamboozled · 18/12/2019 12:02

A Kidi concert music player with disco lights! Thanks to these threads.
A cape for being a a superhero.
A pretend play ice-cream set that she didn't get last year but asked for again and I think this may be our last year of these kind of toys so have got that.
Two 'find the poo/unicorn poo' books

Others are getting her Orchard Games What A Performance, science (Galt) kits, Barbie Ambulance, and other puzzle books and lift the flap books that shes' asked for.

Oh and sparkly purple/blue/green glitter eyeshadow from Claire's because she asked for make-up for real make-up for her styling doll and I'm fed up of doing face-paints every week!

Tonkerbea · 18/12/2019 12:22

Thanks all- I think I'll get her a couple of games she can play with.

@LetsPlayBamboozled , DD got the What a performance game last year and it's been a massive hit Smile

My DD is 6 but is getting lots of Lottie dolls this year as she loves them. If you haven't heard of them they are fab. Dolls but are based on children, and are fossil hunters, star gazers, swimmers, astronauts, superhero's, and just lovely ordinary girls in leggings and jackets! So sweet. They do books to go with them too.

User24689 · 18/12/2019 13:27

Lego set either Lego Friends or a more general set to be creative with. I loved Lego as a young girl and it's such an educational gift that often isn't thought about for girls.

Igottastartthinkingbee · 18/12/2019 16:20

Mine is getting a desk with a stack of activity books and stationary bits to go with it. Also, Buckaroo, kiddizoom camera, Barbie astronaut, Elsa and Nokk, top trumps, cookery book.

@ritzbiscuits Totally agree with you about Lego. We've got lots donated to us, but I need to organise it so it's inviting to play with.

Lots of great ideas, thanks so much everyone.
