Can't see a lot I want to see.

Definitely Gavin & Stacey and the new Christmas Carol starting this Sunday looks good.

What am I missing?!

New Worzel Gummidge on Boxing Day.

cliffdiver · 18/12/2019 05:14

Gavin and Stacey

The Snail and The Whale

Everything else is repeats (Home Alone, The Snowman, Only Fools)

Giggorata · 18/12/2019 05:28

Dr Who, Dracula, Martin's Close and possibly the Magic Flute.

Shinyshoes2 · 18/12/2019 05:47

Gangsta granny
TOTP Christmas special
Gavin and Stacey

backinblack1 · 18/12/2019 06:01

Definitely Gavin and Stacey
The new Christmas Carol
The Witcher (Netflix)
But other than that it’ll be box sets and the usual repeats like The Two Ronnie 😁Dickensian is brilliant if you haven’t seen that yet, I think it’s on Netflix.

CherryPlum · 18/12/2019 06:40

Gavin & Stacey.

I loved the original Worzel Gummidge, watched it as a child, and I'm really not fussed on the look of the new one. Feel a bit cross they've updated such a classic.

MinisterforCheekyFuckery · 18/12/2019 08:16

Gavin & Stacey
The new Christmas Carol
The rest looks pretty uninspiring.

Will definitely record Worzel Gummedge, Snail and the Whale and the Tiger Who Came To Tea for the kids though.

FenellaMaxwell · 18/12/2019 08:17

Call the Midwife
Gavin & Stacey
Dr Who
All of the Julia Donaldson, probably every 5 minutes for the whole week

Worldshohohokayestmum · 18/12/2019 08:37

Gavin and Stacey
The third season of This Is Us which comes out on Prime on Xmas day
The world's strongest man competition 😂😂 it's a tradition between me and DP, we have a competition to see who backs the winner. It wouldn't be Xmas without world's strongest man Grin

ArabellaPilkington · 18/12/2019 08:43

Looks a bit shit

We will be making time for New Amsterdam new season on Amazon Prime, plus rewatching Succession, and have been saving season 3 of the Crown on Netflix.

HollyBollyBooBoo · 18/12/2019 11:06

Added Call the Midwife to the list!

It's rubbish isn't it! I usually really look forward to the Christmas edition of the Radio Times but haven't bothered this year.

The only things that stand out are A Christmas Carol, the Mark Gatiss M.R James ghost story, Call the Midwife and DH will insist on watching Dr Who. I might have a look at Wurzel Gummidge because I love Mackenzie Crook.

There appear to be no recent films, and all the kids stuff is for smaller children. There used to be some great stuff for kids released at Christmas, 'Ballet Shoes', 'The Widow, Fast Freddie and Me' etc. This year, nada.

BarbedBloom · 18/12/2019 12:26

Gavin and Stacey and the new MR James story.

Netflix will be The Witcher and new series of You

ritzbiscuits · 18/12/2019 15:20

Christmas Carol adaptation with Guy Pearce.

A couple of Royal Ballet documentaries too!

DecemberSnow · 18/12/2019 15:21

Dont really watch tv.

Brother ALWAYS watches the queens speech and makes us all be quiet 😃

RingtheBells · 23/12/2019 07:01

This is Us, series 3 on Prime

Chocolatecake12 · 23/12/2019 07:17

I’m disappointed there’s not a new David walliams film!
I’ll be watching call the midwife, gavin and Stacy and that’s about it!

Cherryrainbow · 24/12/2019 12:17

Gavin and Stacey

The witcher. Discovered today my bf is on episode 6 after we watched episode 1 together. I purposely didn't watch further cos I thought we would be watching together and he's been working late shifts. What a bleep

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 24/12/2019 13:17

Very excited for Call the Midwife... My mother grew up in the Hebrides and it's the right year for my Aunt's birth in the Hebrides.

Dr Who.

Not sure what else is on!
