Can someone please recommend me a scooter?

Its for 7 year old DD, nearly 8. It needs to be one with either two wheels at the front or two wheels at the back as she really struggles with balance.

All the ones Ive seen look very small though and the more grown up looking ones either seem to be two wheeled or those scissor ones!

Any recommendations would be brilliant thank you.

How about the maxi microscooter, goes up to age 12 and has two wheels on the front

Yeap I'd echo the pp and say a maxi micro scooter- my son had one from 6-8 and had no way grown out of it by 8 was just confident enough for a 2 wheel by then.

I have a fab one for my son who has special needs and struggles with balance . Hang on I'll see if I can find it .

This one , it's really well made and he manages really well on it , it tilts as you turn but doesn't tip . I tried every single one in Smyths and this was better than the more expensive ones .

Love the maxi micro scooter and that I sporter xl one looks really good too, like the wider foot plate.

Smyths sell them both so I will pop down there and have a look at them, at least I know what I am looking for now thank you. Shes still been using the 'my first scooter' with the 4 wheel set up but think shes more than ready for an upgrade .
