Haven’t got the best of budgets this year Sad

DD (9 months) goes to nursery once a week and to her childminders twice a week.

She’s only been going since October so I don’t feel like I know her key worker or childminder particularly well.

I was thinking of getting something for the staff in her “room” at nursery and something for her childminder but wasn’t sure what? My first thought was chocolates for the nursery but wasn’t sure for the childminder?

Help!

I'm in a similar situation, mine goes to two different setting. I've got some "nice" biscuits for the childminder and her family. I was going to get her a fancy candle but stuck with the biscuits. Nursery have biscuits and chocolates

Similar situation and I took in shop-bought xmas cupcakes for all the staff, with a card.

You honestly don't need to bit something to be shared with the family is always appreciated as being a childminder is about welcoming your children into my family (at least for me!)

The absolute best thing is a heartfelt message about how happy and settled your child is with her minder because we all love hearing how well we are doing at our jobs and it's great evidence for Ofsted and new families. My last inspector loved my compliments file!

I gave nursery a box of celebrations for the staff to share and have got the childminder a big box of nice chocolates; DD has been going to childminder for longer and goes more days

Oh and my favourite present ever was a tree decoration with all my families names on which was handmade by a parent

Which chocolates/biscuits would you all recommend?

Definitely will be doing the nice message in a card. Love that idea...

I give my childminder chocs, Prosecco and a little present for each of her dc (this year a choc pug each).

My DD works in a nursery and has come home tonight and said they gave been given over 50 boxes of sweets and chocolates.
They're definitely not complaining but they'll be eating them til Easter!
