Girls' wristwatches

Hello. Silly question I suspect, but do 11 year old girls wear wristwatches, and if so what is and is not trendy?
Apparently my niece has expressed interest in having one, but no idea what type. She's quite sporty, and quite stylish in a pre-teen way...

TIA

what kind of budget do you have? a kids smarttracker is popular as it is both a wristwatch and counts how many steps they do

DD got something like this last year:

www.amazon.co.uk/Lintelek-Fitness-Activity-Waterproof-Pedometer/dp/B07DWY2MCK/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?psc=1&crid=218V7P9EI0G3Y&keywords=letscom+fitness+trackers&sprefix=let%2Caps%2C187&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyNDNLSUdMVzNORkZXJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNzUwMzQzMTlDOENNSUI0SUk4ViZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwMTk1NjUyM1ZJWEtUUjVON1IxMiZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&qid=1576585143&sr=8-2-spons

She needed a watch but didn't like any of the traditional styles and I agree, lots are babyish or too grown up (and far too big for her wrist).

I think there are several girls in her age group wearing these kind of tracker/watches.
