We're taking the children Dd7 and DS5 to see Father Christmas at Legoland and wanted know if you've been this year have you any advice on planning out the day. Our slot is 11:30 am. We've never been before so any tips of what rides to do etc would be helpful. Thanks Flowers

We went a few years back. No advise but found we were able to get on most rides easily as not busy. There’s only a few rides open so should be able to do the whole park.

By the time you’ve finished your FC visit, it will be lunchtime. Pirate’s burger kitchen is right next door to the Enchanted Forest which is where your FC visit takes place. You can book your table online.
We ate in the Knights’s Table last year, it was a proper 2 course Christmas menu. I don't remember the prices, but remember it was very good value for a substantial meal. I fancied the sticky toffee pudding that was only on the kids menu and the waitress immediately offered to let me have one (it was enormous and divine!)
There were no queues other then for the biscuit decorating, given how few rides were open I'm surprised there weren't more queues but it was apparently very quiet there according to the staff.
The area of the park that is open is beautifully decorated with lights and when it got dark it was actually quite magical and felt very christmassy everywhere. So, my advice would be to stay until it gets dark. However, as there are limited rides open and it will be cold, don’t get there too early.
The elf room where the kids make lego, do xmas cards/post them, ice biscuits is v nice and all the staff working in every area were so friendly and patient with the kids it was great.
