Looking for board game suggestions

I really want to try and keep the DH, DSD and DSS away from sitting on the sofa glued to phones on Xmas day.

Can anyone suggest any good board games? They are 17 and 15?

We love payday! May have overplayed it this year already though. Xmas Confused

On Christmas Day I expect we’ll play a bit of the game of life, maybe get out dobble, articulate and/or plain old cards for a bit of rummi but we have some other games planned which aren’t board games too!

I hope you all have fun! Xmas Smile

Catan, Ticket to Ride, Bananagrams. All much loved games in our house

I always say Cluedo on these threads, an oldie but a classic. Game of Life is the other one we play mostly too.

I'm hoping to get DD interested in some classic card games this year, we used to play those for hours as kids.

Pandemic is fabulous. You have to think and plan collaboratively, working as a team to prevent disease overtaking the world. Thoroughly, thoroughly recommend.

Bananagrams! Articulate is fun if you have 4+ people

These are all great! Thankyou so much!

Pictionary would be good if DSD wasn't a fantastic artist, she will spend all the time being super creative and the rest of us will he doing stick people 😀
