It sounds a lot like my grandma’s no fat tea loaf - it’s just a bag of dried fruit soaked in tea, then mixed with egg, SR flour and cinnamon. It’s so easy to make and really tasty. I’ve always thought it would make a good Xmas cake.

No, I once made an emergency christmas pudding that used mincemeat and that worked well. I've usually found her recipes to be OK.

I like the idea of making it 5 ingredients, where she has suggested combing the mincemeat with chunky marmalade.
