What are you putting in your teen girls' stockings?

I always struggle for ideas.

Not - nail polish or socks, they have loads!

They're getting a Strictly annual, big tube of Smarties and a Lindt chocolate reindeer.

I usually get some nice shower gel - what brands are popular this year?

Any other suggestions please?

I've seen some little mirrors in Next with initials on. And toiletry and make up bags.

twosoups1972 · 08/12/2019 20:58

They like showers rather than baths, are Lush shower gels good?

Oh, and washable cotton pads for makeup removal - I'm crocheting those.

Pop sockets, tweezers, eyelash curlers and a bath bomb would be good

I don't do extra Stocking gifts, I just put small presents in unless they are very expensive.

DD will get
Lush shower jelly
Lush bath bar
Scrunchies
Audiobook
Notebook and good pen
Baby Niffler

All things she would have gotten anyway, they are just nice and small.

twosoups1972 · 19/12/2019 18:31

Do you think this is enough:

Lindt reindeer
Big tube smarties
Chocolate coins
Shower gel
Lip balm
Book
Small mirror with initial on

We're going away for Christmas so I only have tomorrow to get any last bits. Or would you leave it at that?

How old? Anyone 16 and up starts to get small things to take when moving out - wooden spoon, garlic press etc.

School supplies - Pritt, post-its, highlighters.

Small sewing kit.
Keyring
Coaster
Plasters
Does she like baking? Small recipe book, paper cake cases, food colouring/flavouring, cookie cutters

I have done a LOT of teen girl stockings...

I'm mid 20's and my mum gets me a box each year with little bits like cleanser, makeup, makeup wipes, moisturiser, hair brush, hair ties, hair products etc just essential every day things I really love receiving things like this, so maybe you could use some of them ideas, depending if they're into beauty/makeup.

BillHadersNewWife · 20/12/2019 00:12

So far I've got them a lip gloss set each, nail polish, a couple of silly little toys for the trip down memory lane (those water games where you press the button) and I will add chocolate, probably some face masks and hair accessories.
