After receiving one from her uncle last year. Has anyone seen anything suitable for that age group?

I'm scrolling Superdrug atm but not really seeing much -they're all more grown up. Unless maybe that's what she's after (I'll have to get her to look!)

Body Shop?

Moltenpink · 08/12/2019 10:19

Yes body shop, or soap & glory from boots?

milienhaus · 08/12/2019 10:20

Or Lush have some great christmas smells (appreciate not everyone’s fave though, and pricier)

auntyquated · 08/12/2019 10:21

what about the Lush ones?

Lush sets

Body Shop

bsc · 08/12/2019 10:23

There are some in Sainsbury's, can't remember what characters (sorry- mine are older!) but they were on the aisle with the shower gel/soaps/bath stuff

Blahblahblahnanana · 08/12/2019 10:24

Try lush, boots and the body shop. Also my DD age 8 has some perfume from the girls section in river island called iconic which smells quite nice.

Bluebutterfly90 · 08/12/2019 10:28

I saw a Frozen themed bath fizzer set in Wilko, if shes into frozen.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 08/12/2019 10:32

Could you make up a nice basket with suitable things from the Body Shop? They do have things for younger ones and a lot of their shower gels etc. would be suitable anyway.

Ages ago now but I remember a dd at that age (and she wasn't at all 'girly' ). wanting nothing but a basket from the Body Shop (a fairly new thing then).

RockingMyFiftiesNot · 08/12/2019 10:51

Which gift set did she get from her Uncle last year and what did she particularly like about it? There is such a wide variety, knowing more about it might help you get it right

Millie2013 · 08/12/2019 11:01

Waitrose and other places sell Roald Dahl (I think) themed bubble bath, etc. I’ve never paid much attention, as DD has very sensitive skin, but it may be worth a look

Stefoscope · 09/12/2019 08:18

Bomb cosmetics do pretty bath bombs etc which also smell nice for a fraction of the price of Lush: bombcosmetics.co.uk/christmas . I used to love body shop lip balms at that age. Probably anything with fruity scent will go down well without feeling too grown up.

kjhkj · 09/12/2019 08:25

I would get her body shop. Do you feel she's too young? I think lots of girls start getting interested in that sort of stuff at about that age.

elaine26 · 09/12/2019 08:52

Treaclemoon from tesco DD (almost 13) loves it

BeaLola · 09/12/2019 09:03

Next , Body Shop, M&S

I agree that you need to see what she likes about previous gift

What about one of the personalised Vaseline tins (2.99) in Style and Beauty thread - useful but fun and also not babyish

Lovemusic33 · 09/12/2019 09:45

Asda have lovely sets or you can make your own, they have some lovely bath bombs, chocolate orange lip scrub, soap bars and whipped soap. I bought some for my dd's including rainbow bath bombs which seem to be a thing this year (it’s a cloud shaped bath bomb that a rainbow comes out of when it hits the water).

Body shop has some nice sets and should be having their 30% off anytime soon.

CrowleysBentley · 09/12/2019 09:55

The body shop has some really nice sets this year, I got some of the warm vanilla seasonal scented things for my DD (she's 19), who loves sweet scented stuff. Bomb cosmetics do lovely bath bomb sets, similar to lush but a fair bit less expensive.

NotSoThinLizzy · 09/12/2019 09:57

Asda has a huge unicorn head bath bomb atm and a huge confetti filled one. Can also match with bath powders, soaps and scrubs ect

mamabluestar · 09/12/2019 10:43

My DD is almost 12 and has shown an interest in the So mists and the new impulse mists. Having said that SIL took her to The Body Shop and she came back with some nice fruity products
