Special Christmas present for my DD opinions please

I lost my Dad very recently and DD has been talking about treating herself to a piece of jewellery to remember him
She said she fancied a diamond star or flower ring
What do you think?
It’s the one on my ring finger
As DD said the one on my middle finger would be too big for her (I couldn’t afford that much anyway)

Forgot to say she is 28 and was very close to her Grandad - I want something special
Would you be pleased with this as a present in circumstances - I can return and give her some money instead

The one on your ring finger is perfect. I bought jewellery for myself after both parents died just to mark their passing. It's a lovely idea.

It’s lovely- was it bought with money he left? Or I’m not sure what the link with your dad is exactly? Not to be mean- but I just am not sure of the link between the ring and your dad...

It's a lovely ring and a really special way to remember her grandad.

My mother died a year ago tomorrow. Just before she died she gave all of us money for Christmas. I bought a heavy silver bangle with my money. It's one of my most treasured possessions.

DM has given me some money to do her Xmas shopping for my DC and I’ve added some funds to it
