Dr Botanicals order contains out of date items

Along with quite a few MNetters I ordered some Dr Botanicals products in September, ready for Christmas presents. I’ve just gone to wrap them tonight and discovered that the bath bombs all expired in May 2019!
I’m really cross and wonder if I could still complain given that I ordered them in September? I hope that the company would understand that the items were for Christmas, hence me only making the discovery tonight. It’s very frustrating and the other items smell quite peculiar, even though I can only find an expiry date on the bath bombs.

Is that definitely the expiry date? Some places, like Lush, put the date something was made on the product.

No, the label says “Exp 05/19” which I assume is the expiry date. Plus the bath bombs are crumbling within their wrappings, despite everything kept securely in the original packaging and delivery box.

I’d contact them with your order details and the products (showing the expiry dates.) They should be able to repeat the order or give you a voucher to cover replacements.

Sorry, that should be a picture of the products Blush
Even the best companies make mistakes sometimes.
