He's always very awkward to buy for. Doesn't wear jewellery, hardly wears aftershave, doesn't drink or have a hobby as such. Supports a football team but has a lot of memorabilia and shirts bought over the years. I've bought him a new work bag and lunch box so far but I'd like to get him something small that he can actually enjoy.

Any suggestions?

Nice earphones/earbuds? Does he listen to music?

No he doesn't 😂, nor does he read books particularly 😂.

Could you get him tickets to a concert or comedy / theatre show? Or experience vouchers - would he like driving or something like that?

He's not into shows and definitely wouldn't like an experience as such. We're both quite indoorsy and a real joy of ours is not having to leave the house from Saturday evening until Monday morning (sad I know but we're both very busy at work in the week!) I've asked him in the past what he would like but he really enjoys having a surprise and likes to surprise me too. I've often asked for things in the past but he really enjoys choosing for me (and actually does a great job) so I try to put as much effort in as him for me.

My suggestions are to upgrade anything he currently likes. Maybe sheepskin slippers or really nice quality undies. I've bout my husband the fitbit versa 2 as his old fitbit was on its last legs, also a power bank for his car, it will jump start it without another vehicle.

Also as jokey present we bought him a tub of pens as we can never find one in the house.

What about a "stay at home hamper"? Fill it with everything for a full on cosy weekend at home. A bottle of wine, a cheese & biscuit selection, some new PJ's maybe even a fancy pillow. A board game - or a bath cady that holds a glass of wine / Ipad if he likes to soak in the tub & watch a movie. A film for you both to watch. Some nice bath / shower stuff.

What things do you enjoy doing at home when you don't have to leave?
