Going to Glasgow tomorrow and have about 10 presents (toys) that I want to donate but I don't know where would take them other than a charity shop? Anyone know of anywhere? To clarify, they're brand new. TIA.

Will be in the Sauchihall Street region- can't get to the outskirts 😬

I'd seek out a shelter or a local SVP rather than a charity shop, charity shops don't sell DC new toys much cheaper than stores.

Are Cash for Kids not collecting in the city somewhere?
Other places I can think of are Spirit of Glasgow, any food banks and the Salvation Army.

Could you get down to Spoon Cafe in the Trongate? They are doing a Christmas party for disadvantaged children this weekend.

Just checked the website . Party is on 15 th.

Check out Glasgow’s spirit of Christmas on Facebook as they collect presents all over Glasgow.

I know the MSP Anas Sarwar organises a toy collection every year - not sure where his offices are though...

Another recommendation for Glasgow's Spirit of Christmas. They're still looking for pledges.

Just came on to say Glasgow’s Spirit of Christmas but a few already beat me to it :)

The Violence Reduction Unit at 98 West George St need boys 9-12 and 16+.

Or any age gifts can be dropped into Royal Bank of Scotland branch in Sauchiehall St for children linked in with Possilpark Social Services.
