Gifts for young adult with SEN

Looking for a gift for a family member, young man in his early 20s with SEN but no physical impairment. He's got a trip coming up with a carer in January so I've booked an activity for them to do during the trip, but am looking for some other ideas of something physical to gift on the day.

He likes chocolates, is obsessed with coins (real, not chocolate!), enjoys children's TV so has some DVDs, mostly of the Disney classics. Lives in separate accommodation where they don't take much care of things so I don't want to gift any expensive tech as it'll get broken/stolen unfortunately.

Any ideas?

Does he read? Maybe a book about different coins.
Or a robot that counts the money you put it or coin separator.

What about a backpack with a few bits in it for his trip? Some chocolate, a nice water bottle, a Disney book etc. If he likes them a small cuddly Disney toy?

Love the coin separator idea.

My friend’s son has severe SEN and we’ve had success with:
Top from Illuminated Apparel www.illuminatedapparel.co.uk
Disco bath lights www.findmeagift.co.uk/gifts/bath-lights-show.html
VTech sing along microphone
Star lights projector night light

Thanks! He’s got a toy arcade machine that has loads of coins. Will look into the other options!
