What’s your 10//11 year old getting?

I need inspiration!

Last year I got DS a couple of unexpected things that he loves and have been played with lots. This year I am really struggling.

He’s getting an iPhone, so there isn’t much budget for anything else but I want to get him something...

The only thing I have is a badminton set.....

A table tennis table to be shared with his 13 year old brother. He would also like a new bike, a go cart attachment for his Segway and a drum kit but he can think again!

microphone thing for xbox, xbox game, some water colour pens, harry potter stocking fillers, colouring/painting bits, book, scratch art, sketch pads.

He has so much Lego and enjoys the build but it doesn’t get played with much after that....they are left as ornaments!

I got him a Lego technics helicopter which took him hols to compete...I might do that again though as he loves the build process.

I have wrapped listology for DH as a family game. Will look at Tension though. Thank you.

If you are looking for game ideas, I'm getting ten year old DS2 Dr Who Fluxx. He already has, and likes, King of Tokyo (a board game), Carcassone, and Sushi Party or Go Sushi or something like that, which is a card game.

He likes writing and drawing so am also getting him a Spirograph and a book that teaches you how to draw things.

He wants a laptop for his main present. His brother got one when he was ten and promptly broke it and it has been broken ever since, so I am reluctant...

I remember getting a badminton kit for my 11th birthday - I remember being really bemused as it was not something I had ever expressed an interest in and I was really unsporty, but I ended up playing with it a lot!

For a game I would reccomend Ticket to ride. I gave it to my 12 year old last year and he really liked it.

I’m in the same boat with my 10 and 9 year old. 10 year old has an iPhone but has requested a case and a pop thing. Parents plan on buying them both laptops. Aside from art stuff I’m not really sure

Have a look at young driver.eu - driving lesson for age 10 and up if they have a site near you ... mine loved this bought for a birthday gift

Love the idea of driving lessons! Will look into that.

Love the card game suggestions too. We love ordinary cards and exploding kittens. Will search up the sushi game.

DS is getting a penny board as one of his presents. He already skateboards but this is more for cruising along rather than the skatepark.
