Best games to play with 5yo??

We are spending this Christmas day at home this year with just me, DH and 5yo DS - very excited!! I know DS will most likely spend the day playing with his toys but would like to have a new game for us all to play as well. We have some of the usual suspects already - Pop Up Pirate, snakes & ladders, Wobbly Worm - and a few orchard toy games which he does tend to enjoy. Any recommendations for games that us adults would enjoy and he would engage with?!

My son is 6, nearly 7 no, but at that age (& still) he loved Dobble, Monopoly Junior (much better than adult version) and bugs in the Kitchen.

Second Monopoly Junior, also Labyrinth, Guess Who for something quick. Have ordered Ticket to Ride Jr for this year and 5 Second Rule Junior.

Jumbalup

It's a card game, my son loved it from age 4 and still plays it with us now (7).

Other favourites are Labyrinth, Pokemon Monopoly, Ocean Bingo (you can get bird/bugs/dog/cat versions as well) and kids charades.

Our DD enjoys Junior Monopoly, she's also getting Dobble for Christmas this year.

I will look into all of those - thanks!

I saw Dobble in a shop the other day actually, had no idea what it was but will nip back to town and buy it (it was in a small bookshop so not an Amazon buy either - BONUS!)
