Nintendo Switch deal alert!!!

Just in case anyone is looking for a Nintendo Switch, Tesco Black Friday offer is £249 for the console with a free game. The games are all new such as Mario Kart, Pokemon etc!

Damn it told my husband to wait! We paid £289 with Mario

Icecream it’s a gamble isn’t it, I almost bought the Asda one at £239 for just the console, so glad I waited now. We did have to do an early morning trip to Tesco to get one though!!

Is this just instore please? I can't find it online

Our Tesco store don’t have any in stock and have said they won’t be getting any more in either :(

I can’t find the deal online unless you can see any? Got to the checkout with it to be told they don’t actually have any! why have it out on stand then!!

I don’t think Tesco do online anymore after closing Tesco direct. Our local one didn’t get the consoles in until middle of the night, hence our early morning run!

No grey ones left which were the ones bundled with a game but we did get a red/ blue one for £249 no game but that is still cheaper! Thank you so much for posting!

Anyone know if these are the new generation ones with better battery life?

Unfortunately it is the old model, and not the 'new' switch with improved battery life. In fact it is the same bundle as they released for Black Friday last year.
Details of this can be found on Nintendo's website that confirm it is the older model with the serial number HAC-001.

Arghh, non in stock at my local one and no stock in at ASDA (who are doing it at £239), last one was sold minutes before we got there on Tuesday.

Given neither are actually advertising it as a black Friday deal as far as I can see, does anyone know if today will be the last day?

Debating whether the online offers of console & game might be the better bet, it's just I haven't found one with a game the kids are actually asking for.

Impatient ours is the blue and red one so I don’t know why you weren’t given a free game. It’s also a new improves battery life one for those asking too! Hope this helps!

Oh we also got the joy controller pair for £55 which I understand is quite a good price for anyone looking for them!

Gerald yours is the new version. The old version is in a box with a lighter background and a hand touching the console!

It says HAC-001 though? PP said this is the old version?

That confused me too but I was told that new versions serial numbers start XKW or XKJ which ours does.

Ok, great. My two will mostly be using it off the dock so battery life is a priority for me!

Mine too. It’s such a minefield! Currys pc world have some good prices on games too if you are looking. Just managed to get a couple of Mario ones for £37 each.

Mrs whites absolutely don't feel obligated but does your receipt say it's the red/blue/neon one and that you got a free game? If so I'd love to be able to show them a picture of it when I go in if you would PM me a pic. Blur out your card details etc of course.

Yes mine is XKJ serial number too...

Our tesco had no game included printed on the shelf edge ticket, been too quite a few today and all were the same. Not sure if it varies store to store or whether some have just got lucky. I only saw switch plus game when I was looking before so it would be an easy mistake to make.

Sadly no luck here, though it looks like the offer is on till Tues so might do another visit.
