Elf on the shelf balloon...

Does anyone have any tips on how to fit an elf inside a balloon? I really wanted to do this for when our elves arrive on Sunday. Bought a DIY kit and it hasn't come with instructions. I've watched a YouTube tutorial and Im still not sure and I can't help but think it looks very tricky!

I haven’t tried an elf but I’ve put other stuff in balloons and I think it’s a two person job.

You need to stretch a balloon neck over something wide enough for your elf to fit through.

So either put the elf into something, a cup or glass then stretch the balloon neck over and tip elf into the balloon, or use a tube, we have PVC pipe in our garage so would use that.

Hopefully you have a good quality balloon and more than one as cheap ones rip easily. Good luck.

I used a kitchen roll tube to get our elf in, it does need a decent quality balloon- I find it becomes more elastic if you blow it up and let it down a couple of times
