Men's digital watch that lights up without pressing a button?

Not sure if such a thing exists but DH has requested a digital watch that he can see the time in the dark just by glancing at it, without the need of pressing a button to make a light come on. Does such a thing exist? I can find analogue watches with glow in the dark hands, or digital watches with a backlight operated but pressing a button but cannot seem to find anything digital that automatically illuminates in the dark. Help please! Budget up to about £50 I guess but willing to look at anything that fits the brief!

My husband's fitbit/fitness tracker watch thingy (I don't know what kind it is 🙈) lights up when he lifts his hand to read it. I'd guess most fitness tracker ones will do that as they sense the movement? No idea if that's true though 😂

I've got a garmin vivoactive 3 which does this. They are on a deal on amazon just now as well.

My Fitbit versa lights up when I lift it to look at it 👍

Thanks both for the suggestions however he doesn't want a smart watch (just as well as they are beyond my budget) rather just a basic digital watch, but one that lights up in the way i described. I wonder if it's only smartwatches that have the auto-light function? Confused

Probably, as they'll need to be able to sense when you're looking at it. They're not all £££, you can get quite a few for under £50. But if he definitely doesn't want it to be that kind then I guess that doesn't help 🤣

Most Casio G-Shock watches can do this
