Hi,

I've got a £30-£40 budget to get a gift for a woman in her early 30's who I don't know very well but is really lovely. She really enjoys crafts, loves fantasy books such as Terry Pratchett and Harry Potter and is a massive animal lover. Can anyone suggest a crafty gift that isn't too childish?! Thank you!!

Make your own cheese kit.

There are some great sewing and felting kits out there. I saw a lovely one to make a needlecase and if I get any money at Christmas, it's going on that.

Are there any Terry Pratchett or Harry Potter cross stitch kits?

Lovemusic33 · 27/11/2019 20:07

There’s a Harry Potter crochet kit at the works.

I read this as 'craft gin' 😳. I'll get my coat.

Macrame pot plant kit

Dp got me a mead making set that I was pleased with.

Otherwise maybe a needle felt set for an animal she likes or something fantasy like a dragon.

Diamond painting is the newest craft that is really relaxing and creates amazing pictures. I have done a couple and framed them in my house. An easier cross stitch.

Possibly a bit niche, but I got a gift of a drop spindle and I’ve found it very satisfying and pleasant. I’m crocheting a blanket from the wool I’ve spun.

I've ordered DH a "make your own terrarium" kit on Etsy. I paid a bit more for a bigger one but they had smaller ones around the £30 mark.
