Can you ask your 16 year old girls about watches?

Dd has asked for a "nice watch" which will be her big present from her gran.
She's had a series of plastic fashion style watches over the years, but I'd like to get her (on behalf of gran who can no longer get out) the aforementioned "nice" one.
Budget will go up to £150.

I was thinking that a 16-year old might be quite brand-conscious and want something like a Michael Kors.

Sadly you're really just paying for the name - the watches themselves aren't great.

Having said that I'm a long way from being 16 so ignore my musings 😄

Olivia burton are so pretty. Depends if she's into the chunkier bling types though, Michael kors might be more her thing if so. Not sure if they're still popular

My dd is 22 and still wears the rose gold Skagen she got for her 16th birthday.

My then 16 year old dd got a rose gold Armani watch for Christmas last year - she was looking for bling but has worn it ever since and it seems to have gone down well this one

According to my teen Michael Kors is not good. Most tend to have smart watches.

DD is 18 and has had her Michael Kors for a few years, she still loves it 😊

My teen nieces are all fans of Michael Kor watches. I don't personally like Michael Kor but they do.
