Travel gift vouchers?

My dd has said she would like to book a trip with her partner next year and would like travel vouchers for Christmas. Does anyone know a good travel voucher which will cover multiple companies she could book with?

Don't use the Love Holiday ones. My son won some in a raffle and you have to book through them and the prices were very high. Cash would work better to give them more choice.

Plus there's the risk of losing the money if the company goes bust. There will be plenty of people who had Thomas Cook vouchers that turned into worthless pieces of paper.

What sort of places is she thinking of going to? I know that vouchers feel like more of a present, but it's entirely subjective and if the supplier you choose is more expensive than the best price available, it's just throwing money down the drain. I'd just give her cash and put it in a nice card with a travel theme.

I would get a prepaid credit card thing and put the money on that. Then it can be used anyway that accepts credit cards and you don't take the chance of a travel firm going bust.
